Who are we?
​
Global Medical Training (GMT) is an organization that is focused entirely around our motto "LEARN BY DOING." It gives students the unique chance to participate in a more "hands-on" diagnoses and treatments of patients in Latin America under the supervision and training given by medical professionals.
​
In the process, students will not only have time to learn more about health related professions for their near future, but also be socially aware and culturally competent in order to aid other medical deprived nations. UC Berkeley students will be given a chance to expand their understanding of medicine as well as health related hardships of living in third world countries whilst increasing awareness of the lack of healthcare in such countries and providing care, information for the betterment of the nation.

GMT services are also not limited to our national partners but are provided to our community as well. We will offer our students the opportunity to volunteer in multiple service events focused towards serving the underprivileged community of Berkeley and beyond.
